Dear Neighbour,

As we begin our new year, I want to wish you all the best for the year ahead. We have had a hard start to this year with the Omicron variant in our country. I am continuing to work to provide support to our community. Please reach out if you require assistance. My team will be working remotely and can be reached by email or by phone message.

Vaccines continue to be one of our most important tools to get through this pandemic. If you haven’t had a chance yet to get your 1st, 2nd or booster vaccine, you can book an appointment through the provincial booking site or check your postal code and try a pop-up clinic listed below. Please check the Toronto East Health Network website for the most up-to-date information.

With the provincial lockdowns in place starting tomorrow, there are many benefits available from the federal government. Your one-stop resource to learn about federal Covid programs is here. Here you can find information on how to access support for individuals affected by COVID-19, either by losing work or having to care for someone with COVID-19, as well as the different supports for small business.

Please reach out to my office if you have any issues or questions about the supports.

Julie
